Thank you again very much for Eden's MVP Ceremony on Saturday. I was so happy to see her surrounded by all the love in the room and I'm really looking forward to watching the relationship grow.
I'm really honored to for the opportunity to join the Team Up For 1 Board of Directors. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this program and what it's able to do for children who are afflicted with disabling conditions. I'm really excited to help out in any way I can and would love to use the many contacts I have to help promote Team Up For 1.
Thank you again and please let me know what I can do to help at any time.
To Everyone at Team Up For 1,
Thank you, thank you so much for last night - and thank you for all your program has done for Noah! As I expected, this experience has been tremendous for Noah - but it has certainly exceeded my expectations. He has immersed himself in the knowledge of the team - how they do, who the players are, where they are from, how many points they score. He truly does feel a part of the team - and the Coach and players have facilitated that.
Someone said to me a long time ago, that children with special needs don’t get celebrated a lot. There aren’t a lot of occasions where they get praised for their efforts or for being a part of something. Noah doesn’t like being the center of attention or being celebrated because I don’t think he knows how to handle it. But he absolutely loves the feeling of being a part of the team - and he loved last night. I sent the pics to his teachers and they just sent me an email saying he asked them to print out the pics and hang them in the classroom. That is a big deal for him because he never puts himself out there like that.
I am so grateful to all of you and your organization for what you have given Noah - and what this partnership will continue to give to him. I look forward to supporting your work in any way - as always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to being active on the DC Board!
All the best,
Kiersten Todt (Noah’s Mom)

“Coach Brennan and Coach Greenman,
Thanks so much for all you, your coaching staff, and the team did for Noah yesterday! It was a great experience for him – from the moment we drove on campus to signing the NLI :), the cupcakes, and having the time to talk with all of the players. He is excited to go to a lot of practices and as many games – both home and away, as he requested several times last night – as possible. The team swag went over big – I thought he was going to sleep in the shirt last night!
We are sincerely grateful for your willingness and commitment to make Noah a part of your program – and you got a glimpse of the potential for him to be one of your biggest fans! Hope you and the team have a great spring – and exams go well for the players! – and we look forward to connecting soon.”

Dear Team Up For 1,
I was hoping your program would be good for Laneah. It has exceeded my expectations. I am thankful for the life lessons she is learning.
I want to cry because the Towson U. Gymnastics Team is so sweet & good to Laneah – she needed them. We are loving this program. I pray all the other teams are good with their “MVPs.”
The MVP Ceremony was very special. Thank you all for your hard work on our behalf. We are blessed by you.
Dana, Bobby, James & Laneah Whiddon
Kyle has worn his Tiger hat almost EVERYDAY since you gave it to him. Even tried to sleep with it on a few times. He refers to the team as his “Friends” or his “Teammates”
I cannot thank you guys enough.
“We had a great time with Daniel as well! A lot of guys on the team asked me when we would be seeing Daniel again, and we are all looking forward to it!”
“We would like to thank everyone associated with the Beth Tfiloh HS Baseball Team. Daniel had such a great time. All of the coaches and players were so inviting and warm. He had a great time ” helping” encourage the players and with his own batting practice. We are really looking forward to being a part of the team this season.”
“We all had so much fun with Izzy and we are so excited to have her as a part of the team. Her spirit and enthusiasm are contagious! We would love to be a part of the MVP ceremony. Just keep me posted on the date as you start to plan. We are going to post our pictures from our team meeting with Izzy shortly. We love the pictures you guys posted as well!”

“I had the opportunity to attend an MVP Ceremony for the Team Up For 1 Foundation last night. The proceedings were very impactful upon the recipient Will Frisinger (a young man with autism), his family and upon all those in attendance. The Herbert Bearman Foundation provided the financial support for the event and the Towson University Golf team was the adopting group. All in all an impressive event. It was good to hear that Gilman, Park, John Carroll, Key School and Archbishop Spalding have already become involved.” New TU41 chapters are forming across the country so the opportunities for young adults with limited capacities are spreading, allowing many avenues for support of these children. The good that is being done through this program is remarkable. The smile on Will’s face alone spoke volumes. Is your program up to the challenge of making a child in need the next MVP?

Thank you so much for yesterday! It was a truly magical day for Mal and me. I have never won anything; not bingo, raffles or the lottery, but yesterday I felt as though I won a million dollars! My husband and I experience the stresses that every parent does. Ours are just a little different. We have been experiencing some especially difficult challenges with Mallory lately…ones that have caused me to question my faith. I often ask God why He decided to give Mallory to us. When I get to experience special moments like yesterday, I think that’s a pretty damn good reason! As I go through this journey, and I think I can’t do it, I’m going to remember yesterday to give me strength. Thanks again to you, your staff, Mr. Harbaugh and all the Ravens for giving us that very special gift for Mal’s 17th birthday.”

“We just wanted to pass along our thanks for an incredible evening! We appreciate all of the coordination and planning that went into preparing such a special night for Hunter and our family. Everything was perfect from the trip to the locker room to the presentations and of course, the cake! Hunter was glowing and so excited to become part of the team. Coach Stewart, our whole family was incredibly impressed by how warm and personable your whole team was. We couldn’t ask for a better group of young men for Hunter to emulate and we know they will serve as great mentors for him. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the Team Up for 1 sponsors and appreciate the time they took out of their busy schedules to celebrate with us. We are spreading the word to the guidance counselors at school and our special needs support group at work. We truly hope that we can help other families connect with you, so they may benefit from your wonderful organization!”
All the best,
Mark and Cori Crowley
